\nThirrin is a brave, strong, teenage queen of the Icemark. She shows her bravery many times throughout the book. She is a fierce warrior in a battle, but a teenage girl after. She may be afraid of losing a war and dying, but she still shows courage and bravery. Generally, themes are about life, society, or human nature and often explore timeless and universal ideas. Most often the reader has to extract the theme by reading and exploring passages and the whole of a work.

\nIdentify and describe a theme predominant in your book. Do you think this theme is relevant and beneficial for someone of your age and socio-economic background to contemplate? Explain why or why not.

For example, during the story Cassuis Brontus thinks that it will be an easy sweep to capture Princess Thirrin.
